It's kind of funny/interesting that some of us want invisible braces (or at least as invisible as possible) while others want very obvious, impossible to ignore braces.
My daughter was desperately hoping to get hers off for her high school graduation, but it was too early, so she selcted a dress with silver beads, and a silver necklace to go with her very prominent silver braces! The end result is some great memories and great pictures. Even she agrees that she looks great with her large silver smile.

My dentist recommended increasing the amount of candy and chewing gum I give my daughter as long as it contains Xylitol. I did a little bit of homework and apparently its been around for over 100 years, used for decades in Europe, and its available in natural food places like Whole Foods and Vitamin Shoppe.
